Since turning professional in 2003 Angelo Que has quickly established himself as the most successful golfer from the Philippines since Frankie Minoza. Que’s career has always been on the up. In 2009 he successfully defended the ICTSI Mt. Malarayat Championship on the Mercedes-Benz Tour.

Two days later he headed for Japan where he successfully negotiated a US Open qualifying round, which led to his debut in the prestigious Major in June. It was his second appearance in a Major as he also played in the British Open in 2008.

In fact, 2008 proved to be his most successful season to date. He also won the Mercedes-Benz Tour Order of Merit title, thanks to one victory and two runner up finishes, and he lifted the trophy that all his compatriots want the most, the Philippine Open. He also teamed up with Mars Pucay in the World Cup and finished in an extremely respectable joint 10th place.
